The book series Nkọwa Asụsụ Igbo is written by Mrs Chiamaka .I. Akubue and was conceived from the need to revive the gradually dying Igbo language especially for children born and raised outside Igbo land to parents whose busy lives involve progressively fewer interactions with the Igbo language.
The books are written in line with curriculum prescribed by the Nigerian Educational Research and Development Council (NERDC) from Basic 1 to Basic 6 and are colourfully translated in English with illustrative pictures.
The books have also been approved by the federal Ministry of Education Abuja and are currently being used by increasing number of schools in Nigeria and abroad....
